Volunteer-led chapters serve heroes in their local communities

Volunteer-Led Chapters

Heroes on the Water chapters can be found across the U.S. and provide outdoor wellness services to veterans, first responders, and their families. Participants do not need prior experience, and events are open to all veterans, first responders, and family members.

Our chapter events allow heroes to decompress and reconnect with themselves and their families while becoming part of a lifelong community.

What makes our Volunteer-Led Chapters so effective?

Our chapters provide a platform for local community members to contribute to the wellbeing of veterans and first responders, instilling a sense of camaraderie and gratitude to all who are involved. Volunteers dedicate their time, uplifting these heroes’ lives and nurturing a culture of service in their communities. Through this collective endeavor, communities evolve, fortifying bonds and building a brighter future for everyone.
