Our on-the-water events include kayaking, fishing, and time outdoors in a relaxed and supportive environment. All necessary equipment, including kayaks, fishing gear, and safety gear, is provided. You are also welcome to bring your own.

We host a variety of events to meet the needs of our participants:

• On-the-water family events. Open to veterans, first responders, and their families to enjoy time together.
• On-the-water small group events. More intimate gatherings that foster connection in a small group.
• On-the-water women-only events. Safe, supportive experiences specifically for female veterans and first responders.
• Social gatherings. Meet-and-greet events, off-the-water gatherings, and other opportunities to connect.
• Off-season activities. Skill-based workshops and other activities during the off-season keep participants connected.

• Participants must be active-duty military, veteran, law enforcement officer, first responder or family member. No prior experience is necessary. Our chapter leaders and volunteers are here to guide you.

Volunteering is open to community members. Must be 18 years or older or accompanied by an adult. You’ll have the opportunity to support our heroes, share experiences, and build lasting connections.
