PLANO, Texas — After three deployments to Iraq and 12 years as a U.S. Army logistics officer, Pat Cochrane faced the all-too-common psychological effects of combat stress, survivor’s guilt and a challenging transition back to civilian life. Through VALOR, an employee resource group at Frito-Lay North America, he found healing and a kinship with others.
“VALOR provides an important community for veteran employees, military spouses and our advocates to come together in our shared experiences,” says Cochrane, who serves as senior manager of routing operations and capability for PepsiCo. “Each and every event I have attended has been a truly unique and rewarding experience for me.”
