Show Your Respect – Make it 11
They give their all. Let’s show respect. Donate in 11’s and give to those who protect our way of life.
The number 11 has significance in both the military and first responder communities. November 11th is the day we show our gratitude for all those who served, ensuring our freedom. Of course, 9/11 was the day that our country saw in full force the bravery of our first responder community.
With this being our 11th year, Heroes on the Water wants to make 11 even more special. We are committed to serving the brave community of veterans, first responders and their families. To do so, we need the help of dedicated people like you.
We are calling to action our community of patriots. Those people who believe in our veterans. Who appreciate our first responders. Who understand the sacrifice they and their families make. We call on you to help us continue our mission – To help warriors relax, rehabilitate and reintegrate through kayak fishing and the outdoors. It’s more than kayaking. It’s more than fishing. It’s more than a nice day out. HOW’s programs are proven to relieve the effects of post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury. This includes the intergenerational transmission of post-traumatic stress symptoms.
HOW has created a safe, peaceful environment for our warriors to reunify their families, and reintegrate into a productive space in their communities. We need your help to continue.
