With the fall season comes the holiday season. For many, this time of year comes with added stress and challenges. It’s important to keep in mind that many of our nations heroes are already fighting their own battles before the stress and pressure of the holidays even arrive, making it an essential time of year to band together as a HOW Nation.
The holidays can be a lonely period, and this is a feeling no warrior should ever have to feel. After the sacrifices they have made for our country, there should always be someone by their side, reminding them they are never alone. We, HOW Nation, are that someone. We are not only comrades, we are a family unit; it is our responsibility to take care of one another.
Taking a Stand
Whether you are a warrior yourself or someone who wants to help our heroes realize their worth and purpose, now is your chance to take a stand. We must not let our brothers and sisters down during this influential time of year.
For the warrior…
Know that you are never alone. We welcome all heroes from all walks of life. Whether you want to get to know everyone you meet or whether you want to spend some time out on the water reflecting on your own, the choice is entirely yours.
For the supporter…
The best thing you can do to help us help our heroes is to show up. Whether you choose to volunteer or donate, it all makes a difference.
Don’t Wait, Participate!
We’ve heard countless stories of HOW we have saved heroes lives, and this is our motivation to keep our mission going strong. We will not allow the holiday season to impart additional weight to our heroes; instead we must lift them up and create an even stronger foundation of support.
So, HOW can you make a difference? Simply participate. Whether you’re a warrior, a volunteer or a donor, it all comes down to participation. Join the HOW family, as it truly is a cause worth taking part in, and one with an even greater purpose. Your decision to become part of our HOW Nation will save lives and deliver a brighter future to all who are involved.
We’ll see you out on the water soon!
